More improvements to data processing
We have optimized performance of The Firm Directory’s APIs and reimagined data ingress and egress, giving law firms and legal departments a better way to import, update, manage and extract experience data.
The Firm Directory’s data import now updates only modified records, preventing unneeded database syncs, and saving valuable IT resources. The Firm Directory detects actual changes in the data warehouse and imports only the changes to those records.
New web hooks and support for connectors
We improved how data gets published from The Firm Directory with new support for webhooks, so you can more easily subscribe to different events, or publish to an application, external-facing website or other source system using your favorite integration technologies like Intapp Integrate, Neuron ESB, BizTalk, and Azure Logic Apps.
Creating custom connectors is now easier than ever, so you can extract data using APIs and write data to your systems as well. Updates to external applications are also more event-driven – for example, when an attorney makes updates to employment history, this prompts updates to applications like to your firm’s document management system.
The People Picker web part for SharePoint
The Firm Directory now includes two new, helpful ways to display attorneys and staff with the new People Picker web part for SharePoint – giving you a comprehensive list view or a yearbook-style card view. These views can be helpful, for example, if you wish to share or display all of the people within a particular practice or office.
A new, easy way to set up user accounts
Provisioning new accounts is easier than ever with The Firm Directory. In addition to adding new user profiles via Active Directory, new user accounts can now be created using a data warehouse or SQL table, so you can add new internal staff or external contacts to The Firm Directory using various database sources.
